About us
Built by practitioners, not consultants.
Circuit Enterprises is founded and run by engineers who have shipped real products at real companies — from scrappy startups to large enterprises.
Chris Hunter
Founder
Philadelphia, PA
Chris Hunter has been building software since 2002. Over more than two decades he has worked as an engineer, architect, and executive at startups and Fortune 500 companies alike — shipping products used by millions of people and leading engineering organizations of over 400.
He holds a degree in Economics and Management from Drexel University — a combination that shapes how he approaches product: technical excellence matters, but it has to be in service of real business outcomes.
Chris is a practitioner of agile software development with a nuanced view of process. He has seen process save teams and seen it strangle them. His philosophy: use just enough structure to keep teams aligned and moving, and ruthlessly cut anything that gets in the way of shipping.
He maintains a large network of software engineers, designers, and product professionals — which means Circuit Enterprises can scale up quickly for the right engagement or bring in specialized expertise without the overhead of a large agency.
On AI: Chris takes an AI-centric approach when it genuinely accelerates outcomes — in code, in data, in product decisions. But he is clear-eyed about where humans need to stay in the loop. Technology is a tool. Judgment is the product.
